Save the Date- November 11-13, 2011

Themes:
1- Environmentally responsible, family- friendly, outdoor fun;
2- Sustainability & local enviro issues (geared for adults)
     a. indoor lectures
     b. outdoor activities

Goals: introduce participants to outdoor fun while learning about Fl environment and issues.

Friday, November 11, 2011
1pm- 6pm: Skills session for first time camper families or 'Arts in Nature' for adults
Evening program: Speaker, night hike and campfire activities with s'mores
The first 10 'Clueless Camper' families that register for an overnight stay will be provided with a tent plus have an experienced mentor for questions or concerns that come up through the night. There is an additional charge for this but knowing there will be someone to turn to for those inevitable insecurities is priceless (see registration form, downloadable link on the left side of this page). Bedding (sleeping bag or blanket and pillow) and personal items must be brought with you but other camping necessities will be provided for use on Friday night.

8am: Camp-style breakfast
9am-noon: concurrent sessions- family friendly outdoor sessions or; adult sessions both indoors and out
noon- Lunch
1- 4pm: concurrent sessions as above.
4pm: EE lesson plan poster session with West Central LEEF plus pre-dinner Mixer
5pm: Dinner
6pm: Keynote speaker
7pm: Weekend winds down with Sundaes and Social.
9pm: Event closes

Post-Event Field Trips
Various field trip options offered between 8am-noon. Participants meet offsite at designated field trip locations:
- Emerson Point Preserve with Around the Bend Tours
- Green Campus Tour of SouthShore Campus- Hillsborough Community College
- Canoe Loop Tour from Camp Bayou
